If you are a yoga practitioner who would like to push your boundaries and go deeper into your asana (posture) practice, this two-hour workshop is the perfect way to explore inversions.
We will begin with a hot and sweaty flow yoga warm-up to prepare the body for more advanced poses. You will then have the chance to go topsy-turvy with handstands, forearm stands and headstands. Those of you who are already confident in your inversions will get to try some fun new variations.
The session will also include relaxation, meditation and instruction in using the bandhas (energy locks) within the body.
This workshop is suitable for practitioners with a good baseline fitness level and a foundation in the poses of Hatha yoga. Not for beginners.
